Hey, some of you have been wanting PDFs of the longer fics like Red and Dazzleland and so forth. Just because I'm so at a loose end (so not, right?), but mostly because [info]iwondery MADE all the PDFs for me, I got off my fat, lazy ass chaise lounge and made myself a WEBSITE where you can look at all the fics and download at will. I haven't figured out how you can leave comments, so let me know here what you think.

*dancing spastic happy dance*

And, um, I'm really working on the new fic. Really, I am. I just got distracted by JA and JP doing the awesome, you know?

Thanks for this. You may also want to think of doing something along the lines of what stele3 and moveable history are doing with some of the SPN fanfic. Giving people the option to have a copy printed with a nice cover (with an extra $1 going to charity). We can chat offline how this works.

I may, if you're talking about something that gets printed out at that service whose name I'm sure will come to me but that's now coming now. I hesitate due to anything that smacks of money changing hands, is all. I'm a little leery of copyright issues, is all. I know you are thoughtful about these things, so thoughts are appreciated.

It's BEAUTIFUL!! It's FABULOUS! It's not very PINK, now is it?

Don't care. Gots boys and bears and stories and that's all that counts.

Really, it's quite wonderful, and exceptionally handy for pointing folks in the right direction...

GO YOU!!

Well, the meat page is pink. No. Okay. Not so pink, I suppose. But yes to bears and boys! I'm just happy I was able to figure it out. Okay, it wasn't hard once I put my little mind to it. I think I was distracting myself from getting to work with the new fic. Actually, I wasn't. I've outlined the whole thing, just waiting for the betas to respond to the outline. So I fiddled around with this. It's not complete yet (I still have two more oneshots to put there), but it's a start.

I'm feeling very lonely, having been avoiding LJ lately, not up to date with my flist at all -- everyone okay?

Fantabulous site! Filled with Pink goodies like the comics and pictures and all that lovely fic...love that pic too, they can arrest me anytime :) And Snuggle Bear didn't even look afraid in the meat packing plant (if I was him I would be, lol) I know I still have a brand spanking new story of yours to read, and promise I'll get there, been a little swamped. Meanwhile, you can always stick on a guest book for comments, Bravenet.com has tools and I used to use Dreambook for WebTv. Hope you have a wonderful day (night, weekend, week, month, year, upcoming vacation whenever it is). Cya :D

Oh, hi there A! How are you? Yes, lookit. Shiny new website. I'm so proud of me. I did it. With relative ease! I think that the program I'm using (iWeb) has a blog option, which might allow comments. I may fiddle with it some more, but I really wanted to get this up and out there, since [info]iwondery had done such an awesome job of pdf-ing things. *glee*

Just YAY! You have done a Very Good Thing. I printed out Red from ff.net a chapter at a time so I could take it on my trip to Arizona to re-read on the plane. Now I can print the others without as much pain. So I can read them again and again. I'd rave a little more, but I'm still all shaky from last night. Beyond awesome.

*oh, pets you*

That's AWFUL. And just what I'm trying to avoid. I love hearing what people think about what I'm writing and having discussions about what they have questions about, which is why I like posting stuff both at the Pit and here on LJ, but I want people to be able to easily READ the damn thing even more.

It's okay to be shaky after last night.

Wooohooo!! I was actually thinking about this this morning, downloading some fic for a trip. I thought of re-reading Red but it's all in little pieces and.. yeah, this is so much better!

Yay for [info]iwondery!!!!

Um... I notice a lack of happy SPN icons in m y collection to celebrate. Huh...

Super yay for [info]iwondery!! I don't think I would have done it without her. I just needed someone to say, "hey! I really, really, really want to do this for you! Here it is, done! Now you should post it somewhere!" And then, I'd look like an asshole if I didn't, you know?

*sigh*

I am so bone-lazy it's fearsome, truly.

You need happy celebratory SPN icons. I think I do too.

Good on ya! Now you make it easy to download them. *g* Jeez it took me ages to get them on my computer because we live in the country and Australia is so backward with the tech stuff in rural areas so I'm still on dial up. Anyway. Love the site and I can't wait for you to get that new fic up and running.

See? This is why I did it, so I can imagine people in rural fucking AUSTRALIA downloading my stuff. You have just made my freakin' WEEK.

New fic? I am worried that the season finale will destroy my 'verse. But I will soldier ahead. It's all outlined (I am a big fan of the detailed outline), just waiting to hear back from the betas on the outline. Looks like it's going to be eight chapters.

oh, perfect!!! it's really neat and the fics are easy to find. I totally plan to print and read "le cirque de céline" and "red" for the long hours of waiting of my trip in 2 weeks! Plus, I really wanted to pimp the bear hunt to a friend who is going to vancouver this summer. you could put the link to your LJ in the fic section (even maybe each title, or a little "comment" beside it, could be a link to comment at the last chapter of the fic or something) so someone that read one of the pdf can easily go to feedback. I don't know if it would be too confusing or something.

great job poussinette! ♥

You know, there's very little that makes me happier than being called a poussinette. Now you can read my butchering of the French language (and mocking of that cultural icon, La Célina) in Cirque. I am still somewhat worried that it ought to have been Cirque de la Céline, but too late now, I suppose. I did TRY to pass the franglais in the fic by my francophone friends and relations. Without them actually knowing what I was doing, of course.

Let me know if you can print out the comic book...I haven't actually ever tried. I may have to PDF it as well, but it's in a funny program. I think I will be able (eventually) to add a blog page to the site, which would allow people to leave comments there. I know what you mean about the link back to the LJ site where they could leave a comment on the actual fic. May try that eventually.

I think I'll always first post the fic here on LJ and once it's complete I'll put a PDF version on the site.

Oh, look at me thinking out loud.

Bonne fin de semaine, ma petite!

Ooh, goody goody. I've been wanting to start on your longer fics, and getting the pdfs from your website makes them much more accessible.

You might want to put a note on the Tales page about the order the stories occur in, or were written in.

Now, concentrate! JA and JP will be doing the awesome for a long time still for us, whereas little people like me suffer in dire need and serious withdrawal of good John Winchester fiction. ;)

thank you for the pdfs. truly and honestly, it's damn good writing, on every level. Thanks.

YOU'RE behind on your email? God, look at me? I'm thrilled that the web site is useful and that it's good to have the PDFs -- I've added a writing blog page to it, too. I've been up to my eyeballs with work and the new piece, which I'm enjoying, but I think I want to do the first three chapters before starting to post. It's a tricky one, narratively speaking, and I want to get it right.

John is such an asshole in it, no one will ever forgive me. Well, they will by the end but, yeah. He's not coming across too well in the meantime, LOL.

Who knew that PDFs would get people so excited? It's wild, wild I tell you! I know, I was in your neck of the woods -- I'd love to get together for caffeine next time. Or BEER! OR COOKIES. I had meetings at the AGO and then saw/crashed a bunch of Contact galleries that were having openings (I'm a sucker for free wine and strawberries). Then ended up at Sweaty Betty's and CommDaught (up on Ossington, yeah?).

Had a FANTASTIC weekend, loads of great food and art. Best kind. But always rushed. Don't know when we're due back down -- we seem to go every other month or so. Cheers, Liz

Oh man...yeah. Read 'em at will, I tell you! New fic is now coming together. I have chapter 1 and 2 written and am about to send to the betas. It's a trickier format I'm working with, hence the delay. I'm stretching don't you know?

Come Thursday night I shall be glued to the set. And then to the computer. Hoping to start posting soon...like within days...depending on whether the betas think I've lost my mind or not.

Hiya!

Just wanted to introduce myself, so you don't wonder who that individual who friended you is. :-)

The name's Sylvia, and I'm a big fan of your lovely angsty, excellently characterized, wonderfully long and plotty stories - particularly "Red", and "Dazzleland" is my favorite one so far. I always wait until you have posted an entire story and then read it in one go, and I should really have left you feedback so much earlier...

Uhm. Sorry? I will try to do better!

So... I hope you know what a great writer you are. Keep writing. That's all. :-)

Hi! *waves frantically in a way meant to be endearing instead of merely disconcerting*

Always nice to have an introduction. Long and plotty and angsty seems to be words associated with what I've been doing in the fandom. I really starting out aiming for 'funny', but that seems to have fallen by the wayside. If you ever go back further in my fics, you'll see that I started out much funnier.

Any feedback, no matter when it's left, is a gift, my dear, one that I thank you for.

So thank you and welcome to my LJ!
